The record:

Marcus Wiberg and Luiz Murá met eachother in 2010 on a concert in São Paulo and started to play together. Luiz was impressed by how a Swedish musician could know so well the same brazilian sound that we was seeking for.
Later in the year, invited by Marcus , Luiz made his first visit to Sweden to make some concerts and that lead to Unit right away because they were Marcus's music teachers. The four of them connected right away because of their same sound and taste for music.

So in the summer of 2011 the record was set, but one special piece was missing to color up the sound so Marcus had the brilliant idea to contact percussionist Sebastian Notini to join the band and the circle was closed.

Unit & Luiz Murá it's a 100% authoral record brazilian-swedish tropical-scandinavian sounds with jazz colors, it has this live swedish flavor added by the music producer Johan Glössner who was the sound engineer for the recordings.
